VaultOfTheWace is officially sunsetting. After January 1, 2026, the site will no longer be online and all of its files will be deleted. Before then, every file will still be accessible and downloadable.

First, I'd like to clarify that the decision to sunset this project was made purely on my own terms, and not due to any pressure from legal or copyright claims.

Unfortunately, I simply do not have enough time to run the site to the standards that you all deserve. For most of the time this site has been running, I've only maintained the technical side of things, occasionally fixing up infrastructure or rebooting the server in the event of an outage.

Although this may be sufficient in the short term, ultimately these resources become less and less meaningful the older they are. Processing and collecting new resources requires an enormous amount of commitment and dedication, and I haven't been able to provide that for you all.

The good news is that this is not the end of the vault! Check out https://wacevault.com, which would likely be the successor of this site.

We've had a great 1.5 years of this site running and I'm very grateful that we've been able to help out and reach so many students. At its peak, the site was handling nearly 3 million requests per month, serving nearly 4 TB of data for over 5000 users.
